The Brookline Fire Protection District is organized into specialized divisions to ensure comprehensive emergency services and community safety. Each division is led by a dedicated leader who oversees its operations and initiatives, working collaboratively to support our mission.
This division focuses on fire prevention, public education, and safety initiatives to reduce community risks. It is led by Battalion Chief Christopher Sidebottom, who develops strategies to enhance preparedness and collaborates with residents.
The Training Division is responsible for coordinating firefighter and EMS training programs, including monthly sessions and certification courses. This position is currently vacant, and we are seeking a qualified leader to fill this critical role.
This division oversees daily emergency response activities, including shift management and apparatus deployment. It is led by Battalion Chief William Glenn, ensuring effective incident command and training coordination.
The EMS Division provides basic life support (BLS) non-transporting medical services, with firefighters cross-trained as EMTs. It is led by Medical Captain Kyler Faxon, who oversees training and operations.
