Who We Are
The Brookline Fire Protection District protects Brookline and the surrounding unincorporated areas of Greene and Christian Counties. Our career staff work alongside a volunteer roster that has served this community for six decades.
Crews run three shifts on a 48-hour-on, 96-hour-off rotation, so there is always someone on the floor and an engine ready to roll. Most of what we answer is medical, and nearly every firefighter here is a licensed EMT.
